Through Community Employment Services, EP!C helps match individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to local businesses and organization to meet their employment needs. We also contract with businesses and government offices to consistently fill long-term positions. We work with you to identify the skills needed for a position and make an appropriate individual match. We then provide the individuals with training and support before and during their employment, depending on your and the individual’s needs. Our matching and training processes ensure that your new employee is able to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
There are currently over fifty individuals participating in EP!C’s Community Employment program. EP!C individuals work in several different industries and positions throughout the area, including at Hy-Vee, Anytime Fitness, Advanced Medical Transport, Build-a-Bear Workshop, Walgreens, the Illinois State Unemployment Office, and Residence Inn.
