Group Homes

EP!C supports individuals with a wide range of abilities and interests in twenty-one group homes with four to eight residents each in Peoria and Tazewell counties. Living in an EP!C group home allows for the same level of comfort, flexibility, and fun that living on your own can afford. Bedrooms reflect taste and personality and are filled with the things participants love and treasure. Individuals will share spaces like the kitchen and family room with their housemates. They also have opportunities to be active community members through planned outings and events. Residents are able to be involved with the community, socialize with their housemates, and take pride in their home.

EP!C Group Homes Offer:

  • 24-hour support to maximize each individual’s level of independence
  • An individually- assigned Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional with a focus on coordinating services and supports for each individual served
  • Opportunities for community engagement (grocery shopping, banking, attending sporting events, dining out, and many other activities in the community)
  • Overhead track system at seven sites to provide safe lifting and transfer
  • Staffing patterns that ensure needs of individuals are met

All EP!C group homes are licensed and monitored by the Illinois Department of Human Services or the Illinois Department of Public Health.

All individuals receiving waiver services who would like to participate in EP!C’s community living programs must be screened by Central Illinois Service Access for placement and funding.
